Full job description
Duties:
– Prepare surfaces by removing old paint, wallpaper, or drywall
– Patch, tape, sand, and smooth surfaces to prepare for painting or wallpapering
– Apply drywall compound to seams and nail/screw indentations
– Use trowels, brushes, and other tools to apply and smooth compound
– Sand surfaces to create a smooth finish
– Repair damaged drywall by cutting out damaged areas and replacing with new drywall
– Install corner beads and tape corners for a seamless appearance
– Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications
Qualifications:
– 5 or more years experience with the ability to work independently
– Proven experience as a Drywall Finisher or similar role
– Solid knowledge of drywall installation techniques and materials
– Proficient in using hand and power tools related to drywall finishing
– Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
– Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
– Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
– Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods of time
Skills:

– Flooring installation experience

– Ability to build structures

Pay: $24.00 – $30.00 per hour
